Recently, Mr. Supachai Ek-Un, Governor of PEA, and executives visited Hitachi Energy in Germany. This technical visit aims to study business operations Hitachi Energy’s Technological Advancement and Mission Statement “Mannheim 2030” Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Mannheim, Germany. By studying Active Distribution Grids: EnergyTransformation in Distribution Grids at Hitachi Energy, Mannheim office, Germany, the team had the great opportunity to meet Dr. Britta Buchholz, VP Active Distribution Grids in Global Market Innovation, DE, and Prof. Dr. Jochen Kreusel, Global Head of Market Innovation., DE presented and exchanged their experiences. Followed by Dr. Peter Kurz, Lord Mayor of the City of Mannheim, on the Climate Neutrality by 2030 topic and Dr. Oliver Kopp, Director Energy Economics and Policy, MVV Energie AG., on the prosumers “behind the meter” topic. The benefits obtained from this technical visit will be a master plan for PEA to apply in their planning and further work on Distribution Grids.
